Mobile app UI/UX design

We design the flows and screens of a mobile app before we build them, then implement the design as a Flutter theme and component set rather than a static mock-up. The result is an interface that follows Material on Android, feels right on iOS, and stays consistent as the app grows.

Deliverables
User flows, wireframes, screen designs, Flutter theme and components
Platforms
Android (Material) and iOS (Cupertino conventions)
Includes
Onboarding, empty states, errors, dark mode, accessibility, localisation
Evidence
Editor, batch and inspector interfaces in our published apps

User flows before screens

Most usability problems are flow problems, not visual ones. We start by mapping the main journeys: first launch, the core task, the paid upgrade if there is one, and recovery from errors. Only then do we design screens, so each screen has a known job in a known sequence.

What a UI/UX engagement covers

  • Onboarding that reaches the first useful result in as few steps as possible
  • Navigation structure: tabs, drawers and flows chosen for the app's size
  • Screen designs for every state: loading, empty, error, offline and success
  • Editor and tool interfaces, such as canvases, sliders, brushes and batch lists
  • Subscription and paywall screens that follow store rules
  • Dark mode, dynamic text sizes and colour contrast
  • Localisation-ready layouts (our MetaClean app ships in English, Spanish and Urdu)

Design implemented as a Flutter design system

Because we build what we design, the hand-off is a Flutter theme: colours, typography, spacing, component styles and reusable widgets. That keeps screens consistent, makes dark mode a theme switch rather than a redesign, and means later features inherit the design instead of drifting from it.

Accessibility and platform conventions

We test at larger text scales, check contrast, label controls for screen readers and respect platform gestures such as back navigation on Android and swipe-back on iOS. Some of our apps include automated smoke tests at larger text scales for this reason.

Frequently asked questions

Do you design in Figma?

We can work from your Figma files or produce flows and screen designs before the build. Our final deliverable is always the implemented Flutter theme and components, because that is what users see.

Can you redesign an existing app?

Yes. We review the current flows, analytics and store reviews, identify where users stall, and redesign in stages so improvements ship without a big-bang rewrite.

Should the app look the same on Android and iOS?

The brand and layout should be consistent; platform-level details such as navigation transitions, pickers and alerts should follow each platform. Flutter lets us do both from one code base.
