Pricing

How mobile app pricing works at CarrySo

We price each app from its scope, not from a package. The cost of a mobile app depends mainly on how many screens and workflows it has, whether it needs a backend, and which integrations it relies on. Tell us about your app and we'll send questions first, then a written scope and estimate.

What affects the cost of an app

Main cost drivers in a mobile app project
FactorWhy it matters
ScopeThe number of distinct screens, user roles and workflows. The biggest single factor.
BackendOffline-only apps need no server. Accounts, sync, admin panels and APIs add backend work.
IntegrationsPayments, maps, third-party APIs, hardware and native SDKs each add build and test time.
DesignStandard Material components are faster than a fully custom, animated interface.
PlatformsFlutter shares code, but each store release still needs device testing, store setup and review.
Media and on-device processingVideo, image or ML processing on the device needs careful performance work.
After launchMaintenance, policy updates and new features are ongoing costs to plan for, not surprises.

What an estimate covers

  • The feature list and screens in scope, and what is explicitly out of scope
  • Technology choices: Flutter architecture, local storage, backend and integrations
  • Delivery plan with milestones and test builds
  • Store publishing work: listing, privacy policy, Data safety form and release
  • Options for maintenance after launch

Frequently asked questions

Why don't you list fixed prices?

Because apps with similar descriptions often differ by months of work. A fixed price without a scope either overcharges simple apps or under-scopes complex ones. We estimate after we understand what you need.

What do I need to send for an estimate?

A short description of the app, who it's for, the must-have features, any existing designs or code, and when you'd like to launch. Rough notes are fine.

Is Flutter cheaper than building two native apps?

Usually, for apps that need both Android and iOS, because most of the code, UI and tests are shared. Store setup, device testing and platform-specific features still apply to each platform.

Tell us what you want to build. We'll reply by email with questions, and then with a proposed scope and estimate.
